(even more) Coming Soon! The Brights

I'm having trouble keeping up with all this, really, but coming very soon 'The Brights'. Now I'm not sure where I even heard these, really, it's one of those weird ones, you hear something, it sticks in your head, you must hear more! I like a band or music that sums up my mood and today the Brights have done just that, it's summery out, blue skies, warm temperature and you need the sound track for that day, for mine this was it. But please don't take my word for it, press on play for their youtube clips, visit their website but most of all buy their product! it's summer (nearly) after all.

More from the brights later........................

'A loving slice of jingle-jangle pop that doesn't disappoint.' - The Fly
'Definitely worth keeping an eye and ear out for this band!' - BBC London &
6Music's Gary Crowley
'Sound like a breath of postcard influenced fresh air - a great, jangly sound!' - Ed Piller, Acid Jazz
Every now and then a band comes along whose name describes their sound and with The Brights that is exactly what you get.
After their debut single Footsteps last year caught the attention of XFM's John KennedyBBC Radio 2's Janice Long and BBC London's Gary Crowley, Essex Indie/Pop foursome The Brights are back with their second single A Cameo Can't Last Forever released on April 18th  2011.
Replete with jangly guitars and an instantly memorable harmony this single is the slickest slice of Indie Pop to grace your stereos this spring.
Original, up-tempo and with eighties influences ranging from Orange Juice and The Style Council to The Pale Fountains, The Brights have been hailed for not sounding like every other indie band out there.
After honing their craft through countless gigs and numerous festival appearances, The Brights' line-up, featuring David Burgess (Vocals), James Prudence (Guitar), Mark Newton (Bass) andMatt Humphries (Drums), has seen them share the bill with acts such as The RiflesNoah And The WhaleFinlay Quaye and These New Puritans to name a few.
2010 has seen the band hard at work writing and recording songs for their debut album A Trivial Pursuit due for release late spring in London's 360 Studios with top producer Fraser Smith (Shed 7, Ian Brown).
